This 2-day course is designed to expose participants to the key components of the data centre. CDCP training will address how to setup and improve key aspects such as power, cooling, security, cabling, safety etc. to ensure a high-available data centre. CDCP training will also address key operations and maintenance aspects.

CDCP is the first training in the EPI Design and Build training track under the EPI Data Centre Training Framework.

Intended Audience
The primary audience for this CDCP training course is an IT, Facilities or Data Centre Operations professional working in and around the data centre (representing both end-customers and/or service provider/facilitators) and having responsibility to achieve and improve hi-availability and manageability of the Data Centre, such as: Data centre managers, Operations / Floor / Facility managers, data centre engineers, network/system engineers/data centre sales/consultants.

Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP®)

CDCS is the advance level for Data Centre Professionals and this 3-day course will further increase attendees to a level being a compatible sparring partner with suppliers and they will be able to verify offers provided by vendors for correctness, effectiveness and efficiency.

CDCS is the second training in the EPI Design and Build training track under the EPI Data Centre Training Framework. Participants must hold a valid CDCP certificate in order to be able to register for the CDCS class. CDCS itself is a prerequisite for persons wishing to achieve the CDCE status.

The primary audience for this course is an IT, Facilities or Data Centre Operations professional working in and around the data centre (representing both end-customers and/or service provider/facilitators) and having responsibility to achieve and improve hi-availability and manage ability of the Data Centre, such as: Data centre managers, Operations / Floor / Facility managers, data centre engineers, network/system engineers/data centre sales/consultants.

Certified Data Centre Specialist (CDCS®)

CDCE is the premier certification for data centre professionals in the data centre design/build and related fields. This 5-day course is designed to prepare participants to analyze a given business case and perform technical evaluation for a project plan and a set of designs for implementation of a mission critical data centre.

The course also engages participants in product evaluations and demonstrates how to select equipment and develop equipment test scripts (IET) and integrated performance and validation testing (IPVT). CDCE builds upon knowledge gained in CDCP and CDCS courses. Participants who pass the exam will join the industry's elite data centre project design experts.

CDCE is the highest level training in the EPI Design and Build training track under the EPI Data Centre Training Framework. Participants must hold a valid CDCS certificate in order to be able to register for the CDCE class.

Intended Audience
The primary audience for this course is any IT, facilities or data centre professional, who are involved in the design/build, renovation or relocation of a mission-critical data centre.

Certified Data Centre Expert (CDCE®)

This 3-day course is designed to expose participants to in-depth knowledge in managing data centre operation which includes the following key subject matters such as; capacity planning, latest green initiatives, how to properly commission and decommission equipment, compliance to safety standards, statutory compliance and international standards, managing people.

Additionally vendor management, handling incident/crisis management as well the how to keep operations really simple, manageable, effective and efficient will receive full attention in this course.

Intended Audience
The primary audience for this course is an IT, Facilities or Data Centre Operations professional working in and around the data centre (representing both end-customers and/or service provider/facilitators) and having responsibility to achieve and improve hi-availability and manageability of the Data Centre, such as: Data centre managers, Operations / Floor / Facility managers, data centre engineers, network/system engineers/data centre sales/consultants.

Certified Data Centre Facilities Operations Manager (CDFOM®)

This 2-day course is designed to expose attendants to the overall risk management process. Focus is on both the data centre infrastructure and the physical data centre facility and equipment; the attendant will learn how to identify and quantify risk in their organization, creating the ability to reduce the risk to a level acceptable for the organization. The course is based on international standards (ISO/IEC27001:2005) and guidelines (ISO/IEC27005:2011, NIST800-30, ISO/IEC31000) and will additionally prepare the candidate being able to take part and assist in corporate certification processes that may apply.

Intended Audience
The primary audience for this course is an IT, Facilities or Data Centre Operations professional working in and around the data centre (representing both end-customers and/or service provider/facilitators) and having responsibility to achieve and improve hi-availability and manageability of the Data Centre, such as: Data centre managers, Operations / Floor / Facility managers, IT managers, Information security managers, Security professionals, Auditors / Risk Managers / Professionals responsible for IT/corporate governance.

This 2-day course is designed to expose participants to a step-by-step methodology which will enable them to reduce the risks involved when undertaking a data centre migration. It will also give participants a lot of valuable practical hints and tips by trainers having extensive experience in moving and consolidating mission critical data centre.
