Boris Goncharov started his career in the field of information security in 1998. He managed to pass through all levels of information security: from the development and implementation of various information security solutions to the strategic planning and management of software infrastructures meeting the cyber security standards of organizations and their budgets.
His expertise includes areas such as risk management, management of standards and policies, management of information security in a cloud environment, penetration testing, and management of IT teams.
He is a consultant on numerous projects in the field of security, with a focus on the implementation of information security management systems. Boris develops ready-made go-to-market strategies, prepares an action plan to reduce the probability of breakthroughs, and provides information support to interested parties. He has extensive experience in project management, and in addition to being an information security expert, he has held roles as both Product Owner and Project Manager.
He receives international recognition and is an often invited guest at leading information security conferences, including the I-4 forum Berlin, InfoSecurity Europe, InfoSecurity Russia, and European Data Center Dialogue.
For 10 years of teaching at the New Horizons training center Boris has trained over 450 students.
